2021 has been full of transitions. When I’m at a low, I stop to remind myself about all the good in my life.
What I’m thankful for this year:
Family - My husband and I live closer to both of our families, either down the road or within a day’s drive.
Close friends - They fill my cup, and when I can, I make a point to see them.
Good health - Working out my mind and body to stay healthy every day!
Home - So thankful to have a beautiful home and am about to start “nesting” for the winter.
I am fortunate to have all those things and a welcoming community, as the transition from Los Angeles to a tiny town outside of Cleveland, OH, has been significant.
I am fortunate to have so many people that have helped me on my journey, and it is important to me that they know how much they mean to me. I’ve found that even just reaching out to an old friend can brighten not just their day but also my own!

Send a text, phone call, or voice message.
Greeting Cards - There are so many cards out there that showcase how you feel, especially if you can’t put it into words yourself.

Bring them a cup of coffee or tea or their favorite snack.
Mail a small gift. I prefer to find things from small businesses which are unique or make me think of the person.
