TL;DR: Minnieology will close for a little road trip starting NOW. I’m excited to get out of the city and enjoy some new scenery.

I like to think through when I'm coming up with a custom gift or putting together something for my people. I use the order notes to consider what they like and how I can thoughtfully curate gift items that they’ll use or enjoy.
Conversations are key if you don't know what to get someone, and helps you to give them what they want rather than what you think they want.

Has the pandemic opened your eyes to the role a teacher plays in your child’s life?
𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧: The closing of schools affected 4 million teachers and 55 million students (K-12), and has forced them to adjust to remote learning.
The results of a recent online survey of ~2,000 parents from OnePoll and Osmo show an 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 in 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for teachers’ work.
The poll found that:
-80% have a newfound respect for teachers
-77% believe that teachers should be paid more
-69% believe being a teacher is harder than their current job
-53% will take a greater interest in their child’s education after the stay-at-home mandate concludes.
But amidst the pain so many are enduring is a bright spot: Some teachers feel that the 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 is deeper than 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲. REF: Economic Policy Institute
One 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 teacher has gone above and beyond for one of her students. After the school year ended, she called the parents and 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 to tutor their child during the summer for a couple of hours a week. 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗮𝘁, SHE VOLUNTEERED TO HELP OUT OF THE KINDNESS OF HER HEART.
What a 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 she is to recognize that her student needed one-on-one time, especially after the school year was turned upside down, and lesson plans were thrown out the window overnight!
She's an 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗼 IMO, and I don’t even know her!
When someone 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 their time to help you, you want to do something in return to show your 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
The student and parents picked up on things she loved, and we worked together to put together a lovely custom gift box.
