My Favorite Things Gift Guide

Do you struggle with finding a gift for someone, and you end up doing nothing?

Gifting can be challenging, especially when many of us are fortunate enough to buy what we like at the push of the buy now button. If we have some patience, it will arrive in a few days, or we pay a little extra and get it in a few hours.

The most critical piece is being thoughtful and giving the people in your life something special to help them celebrate or let them know they are on your mind, especially when life events aren't something you want to celebrate.

Here are a few of my go-to's when gifting items to the people I care about:

We all need more self-care, especially in the last year and a half; at-home spa items like face masks, nail polish, books, and journals have been a big hit. I love Monita Natural Care.

  1. Sweet treats are also great as these items can be consumed and don't take up space in the home. Chocolate, hot sauce, pepper jellies, and macaroons have been flying off the shelves here at Minnieology. I love Missionary Chocolates (vegan) truffles, Clark & Hopkins Hot Sauce, Burnin’ Beak Pepper Jelly, and Savor Patisserie.

  2. I enjoy giving non-toxic candles and reed diffusers so much that I started my line when I couldn't find a brand that used non-toxic ingredients especially after going through my health issues. My candles are all-natural soy wax, cotton wick, fragrances are paraben and phthalate-free.

Minnieology is always looking to support other small businesses when curating gifts; if you have a favorite small business, please let me know!

And last but not least, Minnieology also donates a portion of our proceeds to nonprofits to give back to the community. I rotate non-profit organizations throughout the year.

This month in honor of Pride, I’m donating to:

Geauga SOGI Support Network - (GSSN) was established through collaborative efforts of individuals and agency staff to create support programs for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families.

Past Non-Profit Donations:

The Breast Cancer Resource Centers of Texas - BCRC’s mission is to empower those affected by breast cancer with personalized support and compassion.

True Circle Organization - provides instant sustenance, compassion & essentials for people who are homeless in Los Angeles, CA.

Kidsave International Inc - programs to help move children out of orphanages and into families in Los Angeles, CA

Resolve Inc - National Infertility Association

Dine11.org - Feeding the heroes in healthcare and our communities during the COVID-19 crisis.

Thanks for reading this week. In case you missed it, I had my first Live TV Debut last week, please use discount code: "newdaycleveland" for 15% off your total purchase until Thursday, June 17th.

Cheers,

Minnie
